An iconic brand that needed some updating. tic tacs are a fun product. The sound, the box and even the name. It was time to go a little younger and hipper with the brand. We wanted to keep it really simple, natural, and sweet.
I hate ads. By ads I mean every ad that is so clearly an ad it becomes invisible or worse does more harm than good. I believe effective marketing is not creating ads but starting a conversation. A conversation with the consumer on their level, speaking their language. It’s not about us, it’s about them. Advertising is truly a popularity contest and the brands with the most friends will win. Hi, my name is Matt McKay and I love what I do. Turning ideas into reality, a funny spot, a beautiful image or an entertaining on-line experience. I take a lot of pride in working with clients that had historically done average work and convincing them that the power of a great idea and unique execution will outperform the status quo or safe route. These are just a few of the things I believe and I’d love to tell you more of them. I hate ads but love moving people to act. Thanks.
